grab & go snacks

Some days, my snack is the crust of my toddler’s peanut butter and jelly sandwich as were heading out the door to swim lessons. Other days, it’s a little better.

I usually stock up on these clean eating snacks, so when I’m in a pinch, I can grab it out of the pantry and head out the door.

Below are some of my favorite grab-and-go snacks!

1. RXbar nut butter and an apple:

Vanilla almond butter is my favorite and pair it with cold apple slices... mmmmm!!

2. Banana

Simple. Quick. It’s also my favorite pre-workout snack.
Don’t like the texture of raw bananas? Peel and freeze them then throw them in the blender with some almond milk for a little smoothie.

3. Boiled egg

Make a big batch and peel them. Throw them in the fridge. Add some Celtic Sea Salt before eating. Yum!
Fun fact: I only eat half the yolk because the full yolk makes it too dry for me.

4. RXbar

One of the cleanest bars out there. They list all their ingredients on the front. What you see is what you get. They come in a lot of flavors. My toddler even likes the dark chocolate sea salt ones!

5. Z-bar (kids cliff bars)

Sometimes cliff bars are too filling and a little dry. The kid’s version is a lighter snack and tastes amazing.

6. Protein shake

I feel like I’ve tried every protein powder known to man. For real. Every kind. And I’ve found one that is super clean, super light, and that actually tastes good (More on that later)

What’s your favorite grab-and-go snack?
