High Protein Low(er) Carb CROCKPOT CHILI

Ingredients:

1lb ground beef

1lb ground turkey

1.5 packets of chili seasoning 

1 can kidney beans 

1 can fire roasted diced tomatoes 

2 cans tomato paste 

1 cup water

salt (optional)

Recipe:

Cook the ground beef & ground turkey on the stovetop. Add the chili seasoning. 

(I chopped the meat up into finer pieces because my husband prefers it cut smaller- but that’s optional)

In crockpot, combine kidney beans, diced tomatoes, tomato paste and cooked/seasoned meat. 

Cook on low for 2 hours, stirring occasionally. 

Add salt to taste (we add our salt to our individual servings… and the hubs adds hot sauce to his)

Each serving is about 1.25 cups and it makes 6 total servings
